Just a Legacy: Try Again For the Peak

The last attempt to climb to the mountain top had been an absolute disaster. Now that it was New Year’s Eve, Lyndsey and Monique were determined to try again. The exercise twins, Walter and Westley asked if they could tag along. So it became a climbing excursion for four. It was probably safer with four than just two people anyway. They had more rope tie off points, and could safely tether to each other.

Support is a huge and wonderful thing. Westley is in Blue and has glasses, Walter is in orange.

For being New Year’s Eve, it was an absolutely gorgeous day for climbing. It seemed like all the snow was at lower heights with the winter clouds being so low. So it wasn’t snowing on them at the higher elevations. It meant that the walls weren’t so covered in ice, and everyone had better climbing gear this go around.

The twins competing with pushups to keep warm.

And they brought drinks to toast the success of each climb.

Harmony?! What are you doing here?

When they were climbing to the base camp, Harmony showed up having climbed behind them at a slower pace. Everyone was shocked, but there was no sending her home. She had chosen to take a break from her homework and climb the mountain with almost no climbing experience. Why?!?

Oh. That’s why.

I was not prepared for this. Harmony and Westley seem to like each other.

And Walter seems to like Monique. To bad for him, she is happily married.

But Harmony is single. And the boy from her class that she liked turned her down and insulted her.

She had her eyes on someone new.

And it was moving forward beautifully.

The group continued.

All the way to the top of the mountain. They placed down some yoga mats and meditation stools. A tent, and a firepit.

The next climbers to make it up the mountain would be able to add to the collection until there was a whole structure at the top.

There was also this random legend guy on the top of the mountain who kept trying to talk to them all.

Harmony tried to ignore him, she was there for one reason. She wanted to kiss her new crush at midnight.

They toasted again, and that’s when I noticed that the twins have opposite dominant hands.

Than it was time to go back down the mountain. Which was much faster.

She snuck the kiss she wanted.

And got super embarrassed when Lyndsey followed her outside and caught her kissing him. But her sister wasn’t judging her. Not at all.
