Not so Berry: Pluto the Cat

I’m still in a state of shock, I think, from the divorce being done. I am still feeling overwhelmed emotion-wise. I’m still working on getting my coloring book complete, but I feel creative drained. I’m trying to get back into it, pull myself through whatever is going on with my emotions. I’m going to keep cycling through the stories. Hoping to not get overwhelmed, keep moving forward.

My stories are probably going to be even more broken than usual as a result though. So I apologize now. I’m thinking maybe I’ll try to get back into Nanowrimo again to do rewrites, turning them into proper stories.

I’m going to have a silly focus for a little bit here. Watching Pluto the cat, the newest household member. He’s very protective of Skylar. Watching over him as he’s getting his tummy time. Have to make sure the baby is safe and not hurt.

Work day, and of course, bringing her son to work, she’s not going to leave him at home alone.

Skylar noticed all the humans around and decided to disguise himself while his mom was working.

Well, someone annoyed Kelsi because they were rude to her son. Let’s pretend this didn’t happen, moving on.

Sitting practice time sweetie. Mommy has a break from work and is going to give you some attention.

After all that hard work, he needed a nap.

Pluto screaming, “what are you doing to that baby. Put your shirt on!”

*sniff sniff* Are you okay Skylar? Did crazy tall lady hurt you?

What? No, of course not. She was feeding me.

He loved it so much, he even learned out to grab properly. Kelsi had decided to reward all his hard work growing with an ice cream treat. He’s so cute.

This was a sidetrack, but it happened. She went to work and got invited to a Sixam festival. I didn’t know this was even a thing!!!

Kelsi is having a hard time right now. She misses Bess. Love day was hard to get through as a single girl. Everyone she had liked were all taken. Her heart was really hurting.

Oh no. Angela… You can’t break Kelsi’s heart like that, you’re married. You know she’s torn up about breaking up with Bess. She still misses her. Kelsi panicked and ghosted her friend, she didn’t know how to answer.

Concerned about her best friend not answering, Angela showed up.
