Disneyland: New royalty

Several years have passed since we last saw the Royal Family. Florian’s parents the King and Queen have since given birth to his little brother; Pawel Charming.

He is even already an Infant and getting ready to age into a toddler. His little Prince Royal Ball to introduce him to the world… will probably be when he’s a teenager. Florian is having a really hard time. He lost Snow, and has been raising their kids alone. He flirted with their ranch hand for a while. Things looked like they were going well, and then it fell apart.

He got set up after that because he needed to get out of his mope land and find someone to care about, and be cared for. Lady Eleanore Elderberry became his wife, she had recently lost her husband, and she was a large supporter of King Ferdinand and Queen Pyrrha. Her grandson Rohan Elderberry was also officially adopted into the family as a new Prince.

Then drama struck again. Lady Eleanore died. Prince Florian is absolutely devastated. He can’t catch a break.

Oh. Prince Snorlax has heterochromia! I didn’t notice before!!!

Meanwhile, as the above picture shows, Prince Snorlax is now a child. He spent a lot of time with his Grandparents since his father is going through so many hard times. He is very friendly and sociable and used to talking to people at court now. Not only that, but he is next in line for the throne right now because he actually shows interest in it, and Prince Florian can’t seem to handle his life, let alone the throne.

Adopted into the family, Rohan isn’t being marked as next in line even though he is the next oldest. In fact, right now the line looks like this: Prince Florian (unless he can’t pull his act together), Prince Snorlax (because he cares about the throne and the people), Prince Pawel (because he is the next son of the current King and Queen), Princess Rose (she would be higher up but she has said she’s passing on the throne if she can get away with it), and finally newly crowned Prince Rohan.

Rohan is still trying to adjust to this new life he’s living. He got made a Prince. His grandparents are dead. He’s not involved with his parents at all and doesn’t care if they’re dead or alive. He’s got a new dad. A depressed dad. And a little brother, and a little sister.

He’s now a young adult, and has to figure out what to do with his life. Should he embrace the fact that he’s been made a Prince? Should he just try to act like nothing has changed?

He’s also considering sticking around and trying to help out with Snorlax while Florian is going through so many emotions. His grandparents were old and it was just their time, so he had already accepted their loss. He could help his new family through the grieving period.

Now on to the one I have barely mentioned. The now teenager, Rose Charming. She has been going through a rough time for as long as she can remember. She doesn’t want anything to do with being royal. Furthermore, she hates school, and the bullying didn’t ever get better. At least she has a few friends.

She has retreated into herself and prefers to be left alone. She doesn’t even eat with the family anymore. If she could just never be noticed or recognized and could drift into the background, she’d be much happier. If she could just jump on Astor’s back and ride away she would, but she doesn’t know where she would go. That and, just like everyone else in her life, Astor is getting old.

She is just laying on the floor in her room right now fighting her emotions and what she should do. Maybe she could talk to some friends at school and see if she could flee to one of their homes.

Hey Astor, what do you think buddy? You think we should run away? It’s almost my birthday. It’s the holiday seasons again. All I can think of is mom around this time of year.

Then running inside to warm herself by the fire when she realized she’d been out in the cold for too long in the middle of a blizzard. Rohan looked at her and could tell what was going on. So he decided to get up and make the Winterfest Grand Meal himself.

Rose wasn’t planning to partake in the meal with everyone else, so she grabbed some leftovers fast so that she could retreat to her room and avoid all the happy holiday family times. Rohan didn’t care, he was making a vegetarian meal just in case she was interested in coming back down for it.

Snorlax didn’t even bother going to his dad, he came downstairs and went straight to Rohan to get some advice. It was confirmation to Rohan that he had made the right decision to stay with his adopted family. He’d call up the King and Queen after he was done cooking to see if they could all come over for a family meal.

I’m sorry, what? Astor is pregnant??

Rose decided to hang out with her family for the time being, she was going to put on some smiles and fake it until she had an idea what she wanted with life.

She gave up and set out just a glass of milk.

Father Winter gave Rose a really nice camera. A better one than she’d had from a previous year. She decided to take pictures with everyone as part of her happy cover.

But it got her thinking.

Oh, heck. I have got to go check on Dopey right now. This accidental time jump is messing with me so bad. My poor dwarf. He’s my favorite dwarf, and he had such a happy relationship with Maaike. He was so deeply in love.

I am so sorry you didn’t get more attention before now, Dopey.

All three kids need to be aged up because of the time jump, so I’m going to do that first. Mopey aged up from silly to Tender

Mopey looks so much like his mom.

Noe and his bowlcut is giving such a Dopey’s child vibe even though Dopey is bald, I can’t explain why.

Oh they are definitely twins, they have such similar features. This is Meredith.

Dopey is trying to juggle being a single dad, taking care of his kids, continuing to improve the house like Maaike had wanted it.
